SRINAGAR — Authorities are very likely to suspend railway services in Kashmir Valley amid surge in COVID-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources privy to the development said that the announcement to suspend the services immediately will be announced in next few hours.
The decision follows huge rush of passengers at stations amid continuing increase in the number Covid cases.
On Saturday, Jammu and Kashmir reported 5190 cases, taking the total tally to 216932 while 54 people succumbed to the virus.(GNS)
