SRINAGAR — The Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday said that three persons were arrested who were “on way to cross Line of Control” in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

“He told them that he would meet them in person once they will reach Uri and would eventually tell them the exact crossing point at the LoC,” the statement reads.
“Police Uri however received the information from reliable sources in time and due to the timely action, all the three persons were caught at Uri market while onboard a Maruti vehicle (JK01M-0371),” [sic] reads the statement.
“After proper counselling all the three persons are being handed over to their legal heirs. They were exhorted upon and advised to remain careful in future and not attend or fall prey to un-necessary calls or radicalization,”[sic] police said. (GNS)
