BUDGAM — The district administration Budgam on Friday closed the Jammu and Kashmir bank branch Budgam after its employees tested positive for COVID-19.
Chief Medical Officer Budgam, Dr Tajamul said that two employees of JK Bank Budgam were detected positive on being tested for Coronavirus in Budgam, after that the Bank was closed for sanitization activities as per the SOPs as a safety measure.
He said “all the close contacts including employees have been asked for home quarantine for five days and accordingly will be tested for this deadly virus.
An official from Budgam administration told KDC that the bank has been closed for five days to follow the guidelines of the administration and health department SOPs. The branch is being properly sanitized as per norms.
Meanwhile, the death toll due toQ COVID-19 has crossed 2092 mark in Jammu and Kashmir as eight more patients died on Thursday in five hospitals. (KDC)
