Jammu —The family members of a CRPF man who went missing after an attack by Naxal militants in Chattisgarh on Wednesday held a protest demonstration and blocked Jammu-Akhnoor highway, demanding his safe return.
The said the CRPF trooper, who is a Cobra Commando, was part of the team that got engaged in an encounter with Maoists in Chattisgarh’s Bijapur, and is missing since then.
The family members staged a protest and have blocked Jammu-Akhnoor national highway while demanding the safe return of their son.
“We want nothing else than the safe return of our son,” the protesting family members said.
They also appealed for the immediate intervention of Government of India and Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor led administration into the matter. (KNO)
