The cordon (by government forces) started at 2 a.m. on Friday night.
In the morning, we witnessed the presence of army all around.
They started searches in these houses around.
Later they took along a youth to the far end of the village to interrogate some of his relatives.
Upon return, they conducted searches in all other houses as well.
They concluded that they (militants) were present here, and told us they will teach us a lesson.
After the searches, they broke into the house at 3 p.m. and ransacked all the things there.
At 8:30 p.m., we heard a single shot. It was followed by a volley of bullets.
We were indoors then and remained ducked for cover throughout the night.
At 6:00 in the morning, they evacuated all of us from our houses and locked us up in others.
Then they entered these houses and did what they were supposed to.
At noon on Monday, they started searches in these houses, after burning them down.
They had bulldozers with them to search through the debris.
Again we heard a shot and then a volley of bullets.
That is all I know!
