Jammu: In a big political development that shook the Panthers Party, a two time legislator Balwant Singh Mankotia has resigned from the basic membership of one of the oldest political parties of Jammu and Kashmir, reported KNO.
Mankotia, a resident of Udhampur, had made his entry in the J&K legislative assembly twice and was presently president of the Panthers party.
According to KNO, Mankotia took to social media site Facebook and uploaded a video, announcing resignation from the party.
“I am doing this in personal capacity. I resign from all the chairs as well as membership of the party,” he said.
The political leader of Jammu province, Mankotia, also appealed Panthers partyʼs Bhim Singh to let party chairman Harsh Dev Singh to carry forth all the tasks of the party. (KNO)
