Srinagar: A joint team of government forces on Sunday claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition from a shop in Sopore town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, based on disclosures made by an OGW who was recently arrested.
KDC reported that the recovered ammunition include a pistol, twenty rounds and five grenades.
The accused OGW was reportedly caught in Bandipora recently. During questioning, he is said to have revealed some “vital clues” and subsequently, government forces raided a shop in Sopore and recovered arms and ammunition.
Meanwhile, an FIR pertaining to the incident has been registered under relevant sections of law and further investigations are on. (KDC)
