Three persons arrested with heroin in South Kashmir’s Pampore: Police

Pulwama: Police claims to have arrested three drug peddlers in saffron town of Pampore area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Quoting an unnamed police official, Kashmir News Trust (KNT) reported that 11 grams substance suspected to be heroin was recovered from the possession of the trio.

“Police party on naka duty near MEI School Pampore found three persons moving in suspicious circumstances. They were stopped and during frisking, 11 grams heroine like substance was recovered from them,” the police official said.

The official identified the trio as Tabish Rafiq, Mudasir Dar, both residents of Namblabal Pampore and Sahil Arshid Rather of Kadalbal Pampore.

An FIR vide number 13/2021 under relevant sections was registered against them at police station Pampore, he added. (KNT)
