Srinagar: Nine travelers among 82 fresh COVID-19 cases were reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 123425, officials said on Monday. Also, one COVID patient died due to to the virus in Jammu division during the time, taking the death count to 1922.
Quoting official sources, Global News Service (GNS) reported that among the fresh cases, 36 were from Jammu Division and 46 from Kashmir Valley.
Giving district-wise details, officials said that Srinagar reported 13 cases, Budgam 7, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 5, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 13, Kulgam 1, Shopian 2, Jammu 26, Udhampur 4, Kathua 1, Samba 2, Kishtwar 2, and Reasi 3.
Moreover, 194 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals — 123 from Jammu Division and 71 from Kashmir Valley. There are now 1111 positive cases in J&K, officials added. (GNS)
