Suspected militant arrested in Pulwama: Police

Army trooper arrested for alleged molestation of woman in Uri

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a suspected militant and recovered arms and ammunition in Malikpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, KDC reported, quoting unnamed official sources.

The news agency reported that government forces intercepted a three-wheeler at Malikpora Pulwama on Tuesday night. During the search, the forces recovered one AK-47 rifle and magazine.

The driver of the (auto) vehicle was identified as Mudasir Ahmad and is being questioned.

A case has been registered in the matter and an investigation has been initiated. (KDC)
