Kashmir University postpones B.Ed exam after allegations of ‘guess paper’ circulation

Srinagar: The University of Kashmir (KU) on Monday postponed the B.Ed examinations scheduled on Monday following inputs of circulation of guess papers, KNO reported.

An official at the university said that some complaints were made before the Controller of Examinations.

“Therefore, taking prompt cognisance of the complaints, the examination of today’s B.Ed paper was postponed well in advance to avoid any apprehensions among students about the sanctity of the examination,” the official said.

The KU official also said that the question papers have been recalled from all examination centres.

“The Controller of Examinations is further looking into the matter and the new date for the postponed paper will be notified shortly,” he said. (KNO)
