Wife of an active Hizbul Mujahideen militant in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district died of cardiac arrest on Friday, KDC reported.
Local sources told the news agency that the wife of Zahoor Ahmad, identified as Rozy Jan, 38, received a heart stroke at her home in Inder village on Friday evening.
She was immediately rushed to District Hospital Pulwama where doctors declared her brought dead.
Rozi is survived by two children — a 12-year-old son and an 18-year-old daughter.
Zahoor Ahmad had announced his joining through social media one month ago. His brother was also a militant who was killed in a gunfight in the 1990s. (KDC)
