Grenade lobbed at CRPF party in Pulwama, didn’t explode

Srinagar: A grenade explosion took place at Noorbagh area of Srinagar on Friday morning. However, no human damage was reported, KNO reported.

An official told the news agency that at 6:30 am, a grenade was lobbed by suspected militants on G/161 BN of CRPF at Noorbagh Srinagar, which exploded outside the bunker.

“There was no loss of [human] life or injury reported. But a dog, who sustained splinter injuries, died on the spot,” he said, adding that the area has been cordoned off and a search operation launched. (KNO)
