Pampore: Army on Monday went berserk in Khrew Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, Current News Service (CNS) reported, quoting locals.
The army thrashed the locals including some drivers without any reason, locals said.
They also said that the army hurled abuses at them and beat them ruthlessly with sticks and gun butts.
Locals alleged that the army smashed glasses of vehicles present at main bus stop Khrew.
Trembling in fear, the shopkeepers left their shops and started rushing towards safe places.
The locals blamed the army for vandalising vegetables, fruits and other items from the nearby shops. CNS
