Trucker brothers from Kulgam go missing outside J&K, family seeks help

Kulgam: Two siblings from Kulgam district have gone missing from the last three days and their family has appealed the government to help them in tracing them.

“Younis Ahmad Dar, 26, and his brother, Faisal Hassan Dar, 18, residents of Muhammad Pora village of Kulgam, loaded their truck bearing registration number JK03D-7806 on November 14 and left for Kanpur,” their cousin, Rahil Bashir was quoted having said by Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

He said that till November 18 “we were in contact with them.”

Rahil said that since that day, they are continuously trying to contact the siblings but their phones are switched off ever since.

“We received their last call on November 18 and they told us they are coming back,” he said.

He said that “we have tried with every friend and drivers of our locality but couldn’t get any clue.”

The family members of the missing duo have requested officials to help them in tracing them as they are very much worried about their well-being.

A senior police official when contacted said that “we are yet to receive any written complaint in this regard.” KNO
