Budgam: Noted journalist Mudasir Ali, who was a senior correspondent with daily Greater Kashmir, died of a cardiac arrest on Friday morning.
His brother, Jehangir Ali, broke the news on Facebook.
Reports suggest Mudasir had complained of chest pain during the night after which he collapsed. He was taken to a Srinagar hospital at around 2:00 AM but he died on the way.
Mudasir, 37, was living with a leg injury ever since he met a road accident. He would often work from home even before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Even on Thursday night, he was home but working online with his editors till late evening.
A resident of Charar-e-Sharief Budgam, Mudasir was a staffer with Greater Kashmir since his university days at media studies department at the University of Kashmir.
