Correction: Grenade attack in Pulwama, 12 civilians injured

Grenade lobbed at CRPF party in Pulwama, didn’t explode

Srinagar: Suspected militants lobbed a grenade on government forces in Kakapora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday evening.

Quoting a senior police officer, GNS reported that the militants lobbed Grenade on joint team of Police and CRPF in Kakapora. However the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on road.

In this incident twelve civilians received splinter injuries and were subsequently shifted to nearby hospital for treatment, the officer added.

Soon after the attack whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. GNS
