Bandipora: After getting bail from the court, police have released two Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) leaders from two detention centres.
Quoting sources, Kashmir News Trust reported that the banned Jamaat-e-Islami District President for Bandipora, Muhammad Skinder Malik, from Gundpora Bandipora, and Tehsil President, Ali Muhammad Sheikh, from Ashtingoo Bandipora, were released from Central Jail Srinagar and Sub Jail Baramulla respectively.
Before release, a court had bailed out both the JeI leaders who were detained under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act at Police Station Bandipora. KNT
