Srinagar: National Investigation Agency (NIA) Monday arrested a Budgam resident in connection with the Hizbul Mujahideen commander Naveed Babu case, officials said.
Quoting an unnamed NIA official, Kashmir News Observer reported that its sleuths arrested the accused, Tafazul Hussain Parimoo, a resident of Budgam in connection with Naveed Babu case.
“He played a key role in supplying arms and ammunition to accused Tariq Mir (ex sarpanch, Maldera Shopian) who further supplied them to Hizb militants in Shopian,” the official said. KNO
