Sopore: The government forces on Sunday late evening launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Tantraypora village of Palhalan area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports reaching Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that a joint team of Army’s 29 RR, CRPF, SOG and Police launched a CASO at Palhalan village of Pattan after receiving information about suspicious movement of militants in the area.
Army sources said that they have installed lights in the area and started conducting a door-to-door search operation.
However, no contact was established with the militants so far, they said, adding that the search was going on in the area. KNO
