GOI approves Lt Governor’s former private secretary for deputation to J&K

Srinagar: The Government of India has approved inter-cadre deputation of UP cadre IAS officer Nitishwar Kumar to Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory for a period of one year.

Official sources told Kashmir News Observer that Kumar, an IAS officer of 1996 batch, has worked as private secretary to LG  Manoj Sinha when he was Union Minister in BJP-led central government.

According to sources, Kumar is likely to be given an important assignment in the UT of J&K. KNO
