Srinagar: The Kashmiri youth who was detained on Wednesday by CRPF outside Parliament House and later handed over to Delhi Police has been released.

Manzoor Ahmed Ahanger from Rathsuna village of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district was arrested after he was allegedly found roaming in suspicious condition.

Back in Budgam, his family vouched for his innocence and said that he had gone to Delhi for some business purpose.

Family sources told Kashmir News Trust that Manzoor Ahmed has been released by Delhi Police. They said that Manzoor was questioned but treated well by Delhi Police. “He is returning home,” they said. KNT
