The logistics startup, WeeDel, commits itself to fill the gap of non-availability of a logistics solution partner in South Kashmir by offering pick-up & delivery facilities to the businesses and households.
Anantnag: WeeDel, a logistics firm based in Anantnag, today launched its services in South Kashmir to bridge the gap between the suppliers and customers in the region.
In a statement, the company said it has committed itself to help e-commerce businesses, which have seen a spike after the COVID-19 outbreak in the Valley, as their delivery partner in the South Kashmir.
WeeDel is offering both pick-up and delivery services to businesses and households which are looking for logistics partners for delivering their packets/packages within local limits. As of now, the service will be available within Anantnag and will be soon extended to Kulgam, Shopian & Pulwama.
Speaking at the launch event, Sauqib Lachoo, Founder & CEO WeeDel, said: “We felt the need to have a logistics solutions provider in the area as there is hardly any well-organised logistics company in South Kashmir. We only have a few courier agencies with limited services. Accessibility becomes a problem for small e-commerce businesses and households.”
The logistic sector for local delivery in South Kashmir is majorly un-organised which is usually run by individuals offering pick-up services to banks and other offices.
Now with the launch of WeeDel, the company is expecting a major shift in the quality of service in the logistics industry in the area. It has already set up a team for running the operations so that the service quality and the delivery promised are met without any hiccups.
The pick-up can be simply ordered through a WhatsApp message or an IVR Number.
