The Central Government has reviewed the deployment of paramilitary in Jammu and Kashmir and decided to withdraw 100 companies, Hindustan Times reported.
The decision was taken after a meeting by the Ministry of Home Affairs to review security in the Union Territory.
The 100 companies to be withdrawn include 40 of CRPF and 20 each of BSF, CISF and SSB, the report said quoting unnamed officials as saying.
