Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday reported 357 new covid-19 infections, taking the overall tally of the cases in J&K to 10513.
Officials said 62 of the news cases were reported from Jammu division and 295 from the Valley.
Giving district wise breakup of the cases, sources said Srinagar reported 97, Ganderbal 40, Baramulla 31, 29 each in Budgam and Bandipora, Kupwara 25, Samba 20, Jammu 15, 13 each in Kulgam and Shopian, Pulwama 11, seven each in Anantnag and Ramban, Kathua 8, Rajouri 6, Doda 4 and one each in Udhampur and Kishtwar.
11-days-old baby is among 9 deaths that were reported in Jammu and Kashmir in last 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths related to Covid-19 in J&K to 180.
According to news agency, KNO, patients who died at SKIMS include an 11-days-old baby from Yaripora, Kulgam, an 80-year-old woman from Budoo, Kulgam, a 47-year-old woman from Kulgam, a 55-year-old woman from Kangan, Ganderbal and a 60-year-old man from Gulab Bagh, Srinagar while four patients who died at SMHS include a 55-year-old man from Chadoora, Budgam, a 65-year-old man from Tangmarg, Baramulla, a 40-year-old man from Habba Kadal, Srinagar and an 80-year-old man from Handwara Kupwara.
With nine more deaths, the death toll related to Covid-19 has reached to 180 including 163 from Kashmir division and 17 from Jammu division.
Moreover 84 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—five from Jammu Division and 79 from Kashmir Valley.
